PROYECON GALICIA to refurbish the Albergue Covadonga in the city of Gijón, tendered at 4.6 million before VAT

Gijón city council chose PROYECON GALICIA to refurbish the Albergue Covadonga, tendered at 4,628,099.17 euros before VAT, heading a set of five tenders the Gijón comarca closed in seven days. Twelve companies were also set up, and one that runs sports facilities brings 150,000 euros.

A single building outweighs every tender still open

PROYECON GALICIA will refurbish the Albergue Covadonga. Gijón city council picked a company for the contract for the Albergue Covadonga building, tendered at 4,628,099.17 euros before VAT, in a public tender where companies bid. That is 81.8 per cent of the value of the five works in the comarca whose tenders closed this week on the Plataforma de Contratación del Sector Público, the official portal for public tenders.
The Príncipe de Asturias sewer, between Guatemala and Brasil, has its builder. The Empresa Municipal de Aguas de Gijón chose who will carry out the sewer renewal, tendered at 367,230.06 euros before VAT.
The port wraps up bidding on the Figar crossing, though the Platform has yet to name the company. The Autoridad Portuaria de Gijón, the public body that runs the Port of Gijón, stopped taking bids for the upgrade of the Figar crossing, tendered at 396,237.78 euros before VAT.
Güerces will get surfaced tracks and Colunga restores the Torre de Lastres. ALVARGONZALEZ CONTRATAS S.A. will surface the Camín del monte de Güerces tendered at 192,832.34 euros before VAT. Colunga closed the file on the Torre de Lastres, tendered at 75,505.50 euros, and the Platform has yet to name the company.

Two of the five deadlines fall before Tuesday 20 October

The fishing port holds the largest tender still open. The Autoridad Portuaria de Gijón is still taking bids for the waste collection area in the fishing zone, tendered at 699,995.64 euros before VAT with the FEMPA, the European Union fund for fisheries and aquaculture.
The Museo del Ferrocarril de Asturias wants to waterproof its multipurpose building. Gijón city council published that museum job on 8 October, tendered at 123,493.99 euros before VAT, and the Patronato Deportivo Municipal takes bids only until this Friday for the toilets at La Calzada, at 62,150.56.
Villaviciosa and Colunga add water and tracks. Villaviciosa put out on 14 October the water supply main towards Careñes and Villaverde, tendered at 67,283.50 euros before VAT. Colunga keeps open the opening of tracks in the Viular, at 99,859.54 euros.

Twelve Gijón companies launch with 217,507 euros, and LUDIPADEL alone brings 150,000

The Gijón comarca, fifth of 21 for new capital

LUDIPADEL alone puts in 150,000 of the 217,507 euros. LUDIPADEL SL was registered on 13 October in the BORME, the Boletín Oficial del Registro Mercantil, the official gazette where new companies are published, to run sports facilities, with 150,000 euros of share capital, the money the partners put in when founding it.
Five of the twelve build, install or manage property. NORBUILD SL and CONSTRUCCION ASTUR 2026 SL will build homes with 3,000 and 3,006 euros, and DORLIN LIVING SL will manage tourist flats with 3,000. They are joined by an electrical installer with 3,100 euros and a holding company, a company whose business is holding stakes in others, which will also buy and let property.
Cinema, orthopaedics, bread, cleaning, software and a second holding company complete the list. The BORME of 8 October brought PLATANO CINEMA SL, with 33,100 euros, NOVA REVO SL, another holding company, with 3,300, and SERVICIOS INTEGRALES ELITE ASTURIAS, a cleaning firm, with 3,000. The one of the 13th brought GRUPO HORIZONTE ASISTENCIAL, in orthopaedics, with 10,000, HORNO AVENIDA LA COSTA with 3,000 and INVOQ SOLUCIONES, in software, with 1 euro.

The Gijón building, second cheapest of nine up for auction

A Gijón home with no floor area stays open until Tuesday 20 October. The court auction SUB-JA-2026-262548, a public sale ordered by a court, is still open on the Portal de Subastas, the official website of the BOE, the Boletín Oficial del Estado, where official notices are published. It is a home in the city of Gijón, but the edicto, the official notice of the auction, gives no floor area or description, and there is no CasasValue for its building.
The 1969 building's auction has closed. The second auction ended on 14 October. It offered a home with a coal store and a storage room in a building with a median CasasValue of 138,848 euros, the value CASAS.ES calculates for each home.

Streets and tracks take four in every ten euros

East and west resurfacing tops the waiting list. Gijón city council has no winner yet for the roadway paving in the east and west of the city, tendered in several lots at 743,801.64 euros before VAT. Behind it come the refurbishment of the Asilo Pola building, at 524,664.06, and the rural tracks, at 495,861.45.
A cycle lane will link the Piles and Peñafrancia paths. It runs along Avenida Albert Einstein, tendered at 306,686.36 euros before VAT. Also pending are the street trees, at 252,887.88, and the fire protection of the Centro de Cultura Jovellanos at 226,306.39.
Two schools, El Molinón and a green space make up the ten. The covered court at the Pinzales school was tendered at 144,609.62 euros before VAT, the green space on Matilde de la Torre at 103,304.28, the playground of the Gloria Fuertes school at 61,663.45 and the flagpole at El Molinón at 59,684.10.

Between the 8th and the 15th, the city of Gijón found contractors for the Albergue Covadonga, the sewer between Guatemala and Brasil and the Camín del monte de Güerces, the Autoridad Portuaria wrapped up bidding on the Figar crossing, twelve companies were born and ten municipal works remain unawarded. Colunga completed the procedure for the Torre de Lastres and keeps the Viular open, while Villaviciosa tenders its water main towards Careñes and Villaverde. For Carreño and Cabranes, neither the Platform, nor the BOE auction website, nor the BORME brings anything these days, and Caravia was publishing its municipal social emergency scheme for households with children.
