Isla Cristina seeks by 26 October a firm to finish its Escuela de Adultos, 853,105 euros before VAT
Isla Cristina town council, in Costa de Huelva comarca, is seeking a firm to finish the Escuela de Adultos, the adult education centre on Calle Fundadores. That single job, at 853,105 euros before tax, outweighs the 5 municipal contracts of Cartaya and Lepe, which between them total 849,876 euros. Three deadlines remain open: the Cartaya industrial unit on Tuesday 13 October, the Isla Cristina air conditioning on the 20th and the school on the 26th.
Finishing Isla Cristina's Escuela de Adultos goes to tender at 853,105 euros before VAT

- Isla Cristina wants the building at Fundadores and Lepanto finished. Isla Cristina town council is looking for a company to carry out and complete the outstanding works on the Escuela de Adultos y Espacio Asociativo, an adult education centre and community space on the corner of Calle Fundadores and Calle Lepanto. The job is tendered for 853,105 euros sin IVA, before VAT, and bids are accepted until 26 October. The notice appeared on 29 September on the Plataforma de Contratación del Sector Público, the official portal where public bodies publish their tenders for works and services.
- The council is also buying air conditioning equipment. Another licitación, a public tender in which companies bid to carry out works or a service, came out on 2 October. It covers the supply, installation and commissioning of air conditioning equipment, tendered for 28,926 euros. Installers can submit a bid until 20 October.
- The school alone outweighs the 5 contracts of Cartaya and Lepe together. Isla Cristina's two tenders add up to 882,030 euros. The school alone exceeds the 849,876 euros of the 5 contracts in Cartaya and Lepe, the same ones as a week ago. With the two tenders, the total for the 7 contracts reaches 1.73 million, double that of those 5.
Eiffage Infraestructuras takes Cartaya's road resurfacing, tendered for 330,546 euros before VAT

- A contractor is in place for Cartaya's resurfacing. The road resurfacing works across the municipality of Cartaya, tendered for 330,546 euros by the town council, now have an adjudicataria, the company that takes the contract: Eiffage Infraestructuras. The contract record was updated on 5 October. Like every amount in this section, the figure is before VAT.
- Two more contracts, in Lepe and in Nuevo Portil, likewise have their contractor. Promociones Costagolf de Lepe is the contractor for various maintenance and repair works on Lepe's roads and public spaces, tendered for 260,000 euros. Media Madera Ingenieros Consultores is listed as the contractor for the footbridge on the Cañada El Murtal bridge, in Nuevo Portil, a Cartaya town council contract tendered for 43,568 euros.
- Lepe and Cartaya are still weighing the bids for two other contracts. Still en evaluación, meaning the public body is assessing the bids, is the legalisation of 5 lifting systems in Lepe's municipal buildings, tendered for 110,000 euros, whose deadline closed on 24 September. So is the conversion of a building into a Museo de Agricultura y Pesca, a farming and fishing museum, and study rooms linked to the Centro Cultural de Cartaya, tendered for 105,763 euros, which closed on 21 September.
Of the comarca's 3 auctions only the Cartaya industrial unit stays open, closing on Tuesday 13

- Bidding on the Cartaya industrial unit ends on Tuesday 13. A court is keeping open the auction of an industrial unit in Cartaya. It is a public sale ordered by a court. Bids are placed on the Portal de Subastas, the official website of the BOE, the Boletín Oficial del Estado or Spain's Official State Gazette, where courts and public bodies auction property. The Portal's description of the unit does not give its floor area and the case has 2 lots. It is the first of the 3 open deadlines in the comarca: Isla Cristina's two tenders fall due after it.
- The 63 built metre apartment in Cartaya has closed to bids. The period for bidding on an apartment in Cartaya ended on 5 October.
- In Ayamonte, bidding on the auctioned home finished on 1 October. Bidding for the home in Ayamonte lasted 20 days. The Portal de Subastas record gives no floor area or description of the property and refers to the edicto, the official notice of the auction.

- The other 2 companies, at 3,000 euros each, handle property purchases, sales and lettings. ARC Patrimonial 08 and Serroca Capital 86 appear in the same gazette with the same stated purpose: developing buildings and land on their own account and buying, selling and letting property.

The fourth is the Premio de Investigación del Consejo Económico y Social de Andalucía, a research prize.
