The city of Cartagena hunts a contractor to consolidate its bullring at 1,652,893 euros until 30 October

Between the RM-F35 road and the bullring, Cartagena city council has 2,918,704 euros in tenders that are still open. Within the Cartagena comarca, CONSTRUCCIONES URDECON now holds two contracts while six companies join the Companies Register.

Bids are open until 30 October to consolidate the bullring in the city of Cartagena, tendered at 1,652,893 euros

• The bullring in the city of Cartagena wants a contractor. On 2 October Cartagena city council put out to licitación, a public tender in which companies submit bids, the project to consolidate the Plaza de Toros, tendered at 1,652,893 euros sin IVA, that is, before VAT. It is the largest works tender this week in the Cartagena comarca and it takes bids until 30 October. The terms are on the Plataforma de Contratación del Sector Público, the official portal where public bodies publish their tenders for works and services.
• The RM-F35 road tender runs nine days longer. Still out is the upgrade and improvement of the RM-F35 as far as the Plaza de Alicante, a place within the municipality of Cartagena, tendered at 1,265,812 euros before VAT. Bids run until 16 October. With the bullring that makes 2,918,704 euros before VAT within reach of builders, the sixth-largest amount among the 21 comarcas that CASAS.ES analyses today.
• One landfill outweighs ten tenders put together. Eleven files are under assessment, so the public body is assessing the bids and has not yet chosen a company. The sealing of a landfill in the extension of the Regente mine, tendered at 5,992,321 euros before VAT, exceeds the other ten combined. Also waiting are the area next to the Parque Escipión, the Vía Verde and the Plaza del Mar in Isla Plana. Then come the water network of the Escombreras dock, from the Autoridad Portuaria de Cartagena, the port authority, and the facade of the offices of the Canales del Taibilla, the state body that supplies drinking water to municipalities in Murcia, Alicante and Albacete.
• Fuente Álamo de Murcia has five files on the table. The town council is assessing the telescopic cover for the municipal swimming pool, tendered at 293,876 euros before VAT, the play area in Calle República de México, the pavements and street lighting of Las Palas, the Parque Tecnológico and the drafting of the preliminary version of the Plan General, the municipal master plan, which sets what can be built and where.

CONSTRUCCIONES URDECON will renew the Los Cánovas sewer and the health and social care building in the city of Cartagena moves to awarded

• Los Cánovas sewerage finds its contractor. CONSTRUCCIONES URDECON appears as the winning company for the renewal of the main sewer of the district of Los Cánovas, in Fuente Álamo de Murcia, tendered at 622,496 euros before VAT. The adjudicación, the award, the step in which the public body chooses the company that will do the work, is in the file that the Plataforma de Contratación updated on 1 October.
• The health and social care building appears as awarded. The building for health and social care associations in the city of Cartagena, tendered at 1,652,753 euros before VAT, appears as awarded.
• CONSTRUCCIONES URDECON holds two contracts in the comarca. The same builder already had the full accessibility works at the Puerto de Cartagena, the port, tendered at 896,182 euros before VAT, and with both it reaches 1,518,678 euros in tender value. At the port, CONTRATAS Y VIALES DE LEVANTE has some car parks tendered at 247,400 euros.
• Christmas, water and two roads close a tally of eight. ELECFES ILUMINACION has the special Christmas lighting for the city of Cartagena, tendered at 813,122 euros before VAT, and TECNO URBS the drinking water network of Balsapintada and El Estrecho, in Fuente Álamo de Murcia, tendered at 247,934 euros. The RM-332 and RM-E33 roads appear as resolved, with the tender over and the contract closed.

The city of Cartagena gains six new companies totalling 50,300 euros and doubling the three of the previous count

• Two companies hold four of every five euros of capital. The BORME, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, where new companies must be published by law, records six incorporations in the Cartagena comarca from 29 September to 2 October, all registered in the city. ELECTROCARTAGENA, with 20,800 euros of share capital, the money the partners put in when founding the company and not its turnover, will fit and repair installations on boats, and SAN ISIDRO FOODS, with 20,000 euros, will trade wholesale in meat, eggs, poultry and game. Together they hold 40,800 of the 50,300 euros.
• Padel, audiovisual production and an investment company round off the BORME. ESCUELA DE PADEL MEDITERRANEO starts with 3,000 euros to run a school and facilities with court hire. NARRADOR PROTAGONISTA sets out with 500 euros in audiovisual production. TWEN CAPITAL, with 3,000 euros, will take stakes in other companies, and a sixth company, also with 3,000 euros, will broker wholesale trade in furniture and household goods. None has property or construction as its main activity, and neither La Unión nor Fuente Álamo de Murcia registers any companies.

• A 133-metre duplex in Fuente Álamo de Murcia finished its bidding. The Portal de Subastas, the official website of the BOE, Spain's Official State Gazette, where courts and public bodies auction property, closed on 5 October the auction of a home in Fuente Álamo de Murcia. It was a subasta judicial, a public sale ordered by a court, in which anyone who registers can bid. According to the edicto, the official notice of the auction, it has 133 built metres on two levels, with a patio and a separate garage. The building has a median CasasValue, the value CASAS.ES estimates for every home, of 175,230 euros.
• In the city of Cartagena, the other house measured 116 usable metres. The second auction ended that same Monday. The edicto gives only the usable floor area and its building has no CasasValue on record. Today no bidding remains open in the Cartagena comarca.

INFO opens grants for trade fairs and trade missions and Cartagena city council calls youth bursaries with 9,250 euros

• INFO helps companies go and sell abroad. INFO, the Region of Murcia's Development Institute, a regional public body that supports small and medium-sized companies, registered in the BDNS, the National Grants Database, the public register where every administration announces its grants, calls for grants to attend trade fairs and trade missions, namely the mission to the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica, of 2 October, and the Marca Bologna 2027 international fair, of 29 September. A convocatoria, or call, is the notice that opens the window to apply for a grant. Who, how much and until when is in each official record. INFO also registered the direct mission to Peru and Colombia 2026.
• Tourist accommodation and a tourism voucher, at regional scale. The Consejería de Turismo, Cultura y Deportes, the regional department for tourism, culture and sport, has in the BDNS since 30 September the call for grants for infrastructure improvements in private tourist accommodation, and the Instituto de Turismo de la Región de Murcia, the regional tourism institute, since the 29th, the first call of the Bono Turístico 26-27 programme. Both apply to the whole region.
• Of four files from Cartagena city council, only the youth bursaries take applications. The bursaries for youth correspondents have a budget of 9,250 euros and a deadline of twenty working days, the days left once Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are excluded, from their publication in the Boletín Oficial de la Región de Murcia, the regional gazette. The rest has a recipient or is not on record as open to applications. It is a subvención nominativa, a grant earmarked for a named recipient, which nobody else can apply for, to the self-employed taxi association of the city of Cartagena and its comarca, a grant awarded to the Hermandad de Romeros de San Ginés de la Jara and what was agreed by the social assistance committee of 24 September.
• Employment, sport and arts education complete the list. The Servicio Regional de Empleo y Formación, the regional employment and training service, calls programmes for unemployed people and employment projects for vulnerable groups. There are grants for high-performance athletes and prizes for professional and higher arts education. Four decrees are direct awards, money with a recipient. These are a bus to the Virgen de la Arrixaca hospital, language assistants in state-funded private schools and two cycling clubs, one and another.

The Cartagena comarca comprises three municipalities and public works are shared between two.
