A holding company in Pacs registers 3.16 million and leaves the Alt Penedès comarca second of 21

The Alt Penedès comarca is second of the 21 comarcas covered today by registered capital, with 3.22 million, and 98 of every 100 euros belong to a single holding company in Pacs del Penedès. In Mediona, a home of 78 square metres at a court auction takes bids until 5 October, and Subirats sets aside 47 in every 100 euros of its grants this week for adapting homes.

Almost half of Subirats grant money goes to housing

Mediona holds the only auction in the comarca, a home of 78 usable square metres. The court notice describes a flat with several rooms and services and 78.20 usable square metres, in a building in the main village of Mediona. It is a court auction that opened on 15 September and accepts bids until 5 October, under notice BOE-B-2026-29497. All the documents are on the Mediona auction page.
Subirats shares out 9,000 euros for home adaptations and technical aids, with applications until 30 October. Subirats Town Council published on 22 September the call for its 2026 grants for home adaptations and technical aids, with a total budget of 9,000 euros. The rules, dating from 2024, reserve them for people with disabilities or care needs, who apply as individuals, and the deadline is 30 October. Pacs del Penedès, 13 in every 100 euros of the day

Ibiza Dream 2004 opens its books in Pacs del Penedès with 3,161,000 euros of capital. The company appears in the BORME of 23 September, the official companies gazette, registered in Pacs del Penedès and with the purpose of holding shares, stakes and securities, the profile of an asset holding company. The registered capital need not be new money. Among the 279 incorporations with capital in the day's 21 comarcas, only one from the Valencia comarca is larger.
A company to sell fuel starts up in La Granada, with capital of 60,000 euros. Gasolinera La Granada is registered in the BORME of 25 September for the retail sale of automotive fuels, oils and lubricants. It is the second largest in the comarca by capital and the only one this week linked to a roadside service.
The only new builder, in Vilafranca del Penedès, gets going with 100 euros. Construccions i Reformes Penedès 92 gives the construction of residential buildings as its main activity, according to the BORME of 21 September. It is the only company this week in the Alt Penedès whose main activity is construction.
Vilafranca and Puigdàlber add two industrial and retail companies with minimal capital. Domhaus Manufacturing is set up in Vilafranca del Penedès with 1 euro to make hydraulic and pneumatic power transmission equipment, as published in the BORME of 22 September. Gloow B3tter is founded in Puigdàlber with 3,000 euros for non-specialised retail trade, in the BORME of 21 September.

The Catalan training consortium opens two lines that reach Alt Penedès companies

Only 2 of the week's 30 grant calls are open to companies

The CFCC, the Catalan consortium for workforce training, publishes lines A and B, open to companies across Catalonia. Line A funds the training programmes that companies themselves submit for their staff, and line B those submitted by organisations for workers at member companies with fewer than 50 employees. Both were published on 25 September. For the wineries, cava houses and industries of Vilafranca and Sant Sadurní d'Anoia it is the way to pay for courses without drawing on their cash.
ARREL, the rural retail support programme, comes as a direct grant to the Consell de Cambres and is not open to applications. The Departament d'Empresa i Treball, the Catalan government's business and labour department, published on 21 September a grant exempt from open competition to the Consell de Cambres, the council of Catalan chambers of commerce, to run the ARREL Programme supporting rural retail in 2026. Shops do not apply for it: the money goes to the chambers, which are the ones that manage the programme.

The week from 20 to 27 September brings five incorporations, one court auction and ten municipal grant calls spread across the Alt Penedès comarca. Vilafranca del Penedès saw two new companies, a builder and an industrial firm, Pacs del Penedès the largest in the comarca, Puigdàlber a retail company and La Granada a fuel retailer. Mediona has the only auction. Subirats published seven calls, among them the 9,000 euro one for adapting homes, Santa Margarida i els Monjos two and Sant Sadurní d'Anoia one, all for people or organisations in each municipality. Gelida, Olèrdola, Sant Martí Sarroca, Castellet i la Gornal, Torrelles de Foix, Sant Llorenç d'Hortons, Sant Quintí de Mediona, Sant Pere de Riudebitlles, Olesa de Bonesvalls, Avinyonet del Penedès, Castellví de la Marca, Torrelavit, Font-rubí, El Pla del Penedès, Vilobí del Penedès, Les Cabanyes, Sant Cugat Sesgarrigues, Pontons and Santa Fe del Penedès recorded no incorporations, auctions or council grant calls this week.
