Alcoi city council opens the Francisco Laporta athletics track to bids, for 183,476 euros before VAT

The town of Alcoi leads the sports-surface works tendered this week across 21 comarcas, Castalla will grant land to an electric-charger operator that comes forward before 18 November, while the Alcoy comarca gathers three jobs pending a contractor whose combined value is 404,258 euros before VAT.

Castalla grants municipal land for electric chargers, and operators can apply by 18 November

• Castalla wants a charging operator. Castalla's mayor's office updated on 19 October on the Plataforma de Contratación, the official portal where public bodies publish their tenders for works and services, the public-land concession to install, maintain and operate public charging stations for electric vehicles.
• Four weeks remain to bid. The notice came out on 6 October. The file sets no tender value. The town council provides the land and the winning company installs and operates the chargers, according to file 1109/2026.

Three works in Alcoi, Onil and Ibi seek a contractor for 404,258 euros before VAT

• Alcoi renews the Francisco Laporta track. Alcoi city council published on 16 October the call for bids, a public tender in which companies bid to carry out works or a service, for the works to renew the surface of the track, with its markings, for 183,476.33 euros before VAT, that is, before tax, with bids open until 6 November. It is the largest of the three sports-surface works that came out this week in the 21 comarcas with an edition on 22 October. The sports hall in Colmenar Viejo, in Madrid Norte, goes out for 5,790 euros less and the school sports court in La Mojonera for a little over half.
• Onil refurbishes premises on Doctor Esquerdo. Onil town council is taking bids until 3 November for the works to refurbish premises at number 1 Calle Doctor Esquerdo, with a budget of 164,454.24 euros before VAT.
• Ibi wants a new clinic lift, and tenders for it are due by Tuesday the 27th. The Alcoi Health Department is taking bids until 27 October to install a new lift at the Ibi II Health Centre, a works contract of 56,327.10 euros before VAT.

Alcoi furnishes its intergenerational building as three jobs still wait for a verdict

• Alcoi's intergenerational building now has its suppliers. The Alcoi city council file was updated this week and now shows the award, the step in which the public body chooses the company that will do the work, of the furniture, appliances and household goods for the homes, premises and shared areas of the Edificio Intergeneracional, tendered for 55,413.40 euros before VAT and awarded to two companies.
• Alcoi's municipal roads are being cleared. The clearing and cleaning of the municipal road network to improve its drainage, tendered for 20,442.48 euros before VAT, also changed status. The Platform does not yet show the chosen company.
• Bidding has ended for climate control works in a central Alcoi clinic. Bids to refurbish the heating and cooling system of Centro de Salud Plaça de Dins, tendered for 304,657.12 euros before VAT, closed on 14 October. In Ibi, the public body is reviewing the bids for the electricity generator at the Ibi-1 Health Centre, for 23,471.07 euros before VAT.
• Banyeres de Mariola expands its cemetery. The town council is reviewing bids to build 148 niches, a works contract tendered for 115,120.86 euros before VAT.

Alcoi and Castalla register three new firms, and the housing department opens funds for facades and lifts

• Castalla registers a company named after a pelota court. Trinquet de Castalla SL, in hospitality, was set up with 3,000 euros of share capital, the money the partners put in when founding the company, according to the BORME of 14 October, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, where every new company is published.
• Alcoi welcomes two companies. Tailors of the Mountain Valley SL, making leather and fabric clothing, appeared on 15 October and Font Roja Alimentación SL on 21 October. Both start with 3,000 euros of capital.
• Buildings damaged by the 2024 DANA, an isolated low-pressure system high in the atmosphere that can bring heavy rain, have two calls for grants. The Generalitat's regional Secretariat for Housing published on 15 October the 2026 call, the notice that opens the window to apply for a grant, for grants to clean and repair facades and the one for grants to repair or replace lifts.

Eight properties in Alcoi and Ibi finished their auction, among them a 2,087 square metre plot

• Bidding is already closed. Alcoi's seven tax-collection auctions closed on 14 October and the court auction in Ibi on the 15th. Among them, an urban plot of 2,087 square metres with 1,565 square metres of buildable floor space for semi-detached housing.
• Three Alcoi flats, in blocks from 1920 to 1958. A home of 76 usable square metres with a storage room is in a 1958 building with a median CasasValue, the value CASAS.ES estimates for every home, of 70,209 euros. Another home in a 1955 building has a median CasasValue of 41,358 euros, and part of a 30 square metre house is in a 1920 building with a median CasasValue of 46,518 euros.
• Two shops or offices plus part of a factory building round off the Alcoi lots. Also on offer were premises of 16 built square metres in a 1930 building with a median CasasValue of 46,518 euros, premises of 925 square metres on two levels inside an industrial building and a 74.5 per cent share of an industrial unit.
• In Ibi, the court auction closed on the 15th. The court auction, a public sale ordered by a court, was for a home with a garage in Ibi, in a 2006 building.

Between 14 and 21 October, Alcoi sought bidders to resurface the track of the Francisco Laporta sports centre, logged progress on furnishing its intergenerational building and on clearing its rural road network, and saw two firms registered. Castalla offered land for electric charging and registered another company. In Onil proposals are accepted until 3 November to redo the Doctor Esquerdo premises, in Ibi until the 27th for a new lift at a clinic, and in Banyeres de Mariola bids are being examined for its 148 niches. The eight auctions in Alcoi and Ibi ended before the 16th. Benifallim, Tibi and Penàguila had no activity in the package from 14 to 21 October.
