Albacete city council holds 94 % of the 3.8 million in contracts that have yet to find a company

The Albacete comarca has six contracts worth 3.8 million still without a company, and 94 % belongs to Albacete city council, led by the 2.9 million winter road maintenance contract. The radio station Nova Onda will be based at the council's Centro Joven youth centre, and two city flats plus a Romica industrial unit take bids until 5 or 7 October. To improve accessibility in homes, Castilla-La Mancha's regional government, the Junta de Comunidades, puts up 7 million.

Peñas de San Pedro accounts for more than half

The radio station Nova Onda will be based at the Centro Joven of Albacete city council. The Junta de Gobierno, the executive board of Albacete city council, awarded Servialba Actividades the repair of the roof and the extension of the Centro Joven youth centre to house the radio station, a project put out to tender for 327,250 euros excluding VAT that the Procurement Platform lists as resolved in its update of 21 September.
BECSA takes the hangar C16 works at the Maestranza Aérea. The Albacete Air Base resolved the contract the Platform titles as a six-space car park for hangar C16 at the Maestranza Aérea, the air force maintenance depot. It was put out to tender for 155,497 euros excluding VAT and is listed as resolved on 28 September. Together with the Centro Joven, they add up to 482,747 euros of budget awarded in the week.
Urbialba will build the multi-purpose building in Peñas de San Pedro. The full council of Peñas de San Pedro had put it out to tender for 602,672 euros excluding VAT, the largest of the three, and it has been listed as awarded since 16 September, before this week.

Two flats from 1966 and 1967 plus a Romica industrial unit can still be bid on in Albacete city until 5 and 7 October

A flat in a block from 1966, with the auction open until Monday 5 October. It is a building of four homes in the city of Albacete where the median home has a CasasValue of 146,181 euros, 31 % below the 211,698 euros of the whole city. See the auction of the 1966 flat.

Six contracts worth 3.8 million are still without a company, 2.9 of them for the through roads in winter

Albacete city council holds 94 % of the pending money

Winter maintenance of the through roads is the big contract. Albacete city council put out to tender on 16 May for 2,947,460.62 euros excluding VAT the service to maintain in winter, and with road safety, the through roads included in the contract, and it is still assessing bids.
The asphalting of Calle E in Campollano is still unawarded. It came out on 24 April for 473,622 euros (asphalting contract). The supply of video surveillance for the Recinto Ferial, the fairground, worth 148,580 euros with European funds, was published on 20 August (video surveillance contract).
The Diputación de Albacete is renovating the entrance to the Teatro de la Paz. The works, published on 24 August for 132,124 euros, are being assessed (contract). The air conditioning of the Centro de Salud zona 7 health centre (57,615 euros, 9 September, contract) and the paving of a plot at the airport by Aena (45,538 euros, 16 September, contract) complete the list.

Placalba starts with 15,500 euros to build while Albacete city council opens birth grants

The Albacete comarca, tied in 13th place of 21

Placalba 2026 is founded to build and refurbish buildings. It has the most capital of the week, 15,500 euros, and is the only one with a construction activity code, with residential and non-residential works in its purpose. BORME of 24 September.
Novera Living, Trihilo Capital and Migon 2026 will invest in homes and commercial premises. Novera Living and Trihilo Capital, with 3,000 euros each, appear on 22 September (BORME of the 22nd), and Migon 2026, with another 3,000, on the 25th (BORME of the 25th). Novera Living also includes development and construction in its purpose. The fifth is a beauty centre.
The Junta distributes 7 million for accessibility in homes, with applications open until 30 November. The Consejería de Fomento, the housing and public works department of the regional government, announced on 24 September the 2026 grants for accessibility in homes for all of Castilla-La Mancha. Individuals apply, and the works mean business for small builders and installers. Accessibility call in the BDNS.
Albacete city council opens one-off birth grants. The 2026 call, published on 21 September, has 300,000 euros. Applications are made within the 30 calendar days following the birth or adoption, by 31 March 2027 at the latest. Birth grants in the BDNS.

From 21 to 28 September almost all the comarca's activity took place in Albacete city: the Centro Joven works for Nova Onda, the hangar C16 works at the Maestranza, six contracts being assessed, three auctions taking bids, five newly registered companies and the birth grants. Peñas de San Pedro appears with its multi-purpose building awarded since 16 September. Chinchilla de Monte-Aragón, Pozo Cañada, La Gineta, Balazote, Barrax, Pozohondo, Casas de Juan Núñez, Higueruela, Pétrola, Alcadozo, Hoya-Gonzalo, Pozuelo, La Herrera, Corral-Rubio and Montalvos went through the week without tenders, auctions or companies.
