SAN SEBASTIÁN ANÁLISIS Y NEGOCIOS SEMANAL

San Sebastián comarca · No. 4 · Thursday 22 October 2026 · 3-minute read

Usurbil and Astigarraga hold the only 2 new auctions among 21 comarcas, with bidding running to 9 November

Among the 21 comarcas that today's bulletin covers, only the San Sebastián comarca has fresh court auctions since last Wednesday. They are a home in Usurbil and, in Astigarraga, a rural estate, both taking online bids up to 9 November. Separately, the Gobierno Vasco, the Basque regional government, registered a grant programme on social responsibility.

A Usurbil home and an Astigarraga rural estate stay open to any bidder for 18 days

The comarca's auctions stay in Usurbil and Astigarraga
  • Usurbil offers a home to bidders. On 20 October a court opened on the Portal de Subastas, the BOE's official website where anyone who registers can bid, the BOE being Spain's Official State Gazette, the auction of a home in Usurbil (notice BOE-B-2026-33753). It is a court auction, a public sale ordered by a court. Bids are accepted until 9 November, 18 days counting from today, Thursday. The edicto, the official notice of the auction, does not give the floor area, so it is worth checking the property file before bidding.
  • Astigarraga puts a rural estate up for court sale. On the same day bidding opened for a rural estate in Astigarraga (notice BOE-B-2026-33752), with the same closing date. Here too the edicto gives no square metres, so the value of the lot rests on the documents the court posts on the portal. Counting the 21 comarcas in today's bulletin, 4 property auctions remain open for bids, and the other two, in Benalmádena and Bilbao, close sooner, on 24 and 27 October.
  • In Usurbil, the auction with a warehouse has already closed. The auction of a 16,240 square metre rural estate with a warehouse in Usurbil, with an office, a cold store and aquaculture facilities, closed for bids on 15 October. The three auctions in the comarca covered by CASAS.ES fall in two municipalities, Usurbil and Astigarraga, and none in the city of San Sebastián.

The Gobierno Vasco registers a social responsibility programme and Gauzatu Internacional within five days

Two new auctions run 20 days, the warehouse one has closed
  • Introducing social responsibility now has regional backing. The Department of Economy, Labour and Employment of the Gobierno Vasco published this week in the BDNS, the National Grants Database, the public register where every administration announces its grants, its grants to introduce corporate social responsibility and employee participation (convocatoria 935313, the notice that opens the window to apply for a grant). They fall under the de minimis regime, for small grants subject to a per-company ceiling set by the European Union. Who can apply, how much they give and until when, in the official record.
  • Gauzatu Internacional, designed for large companies, comes next. The Agencia Vasca de Desarrollo Empresarial, the Basque Business Development Agency, the Basque Government body that promotes industry, registered five days later Gauzatu Internacional for large companies (936308). The title does not make clear whether it is an open call or money with a set recipient, and the official record is what says so.

This round-up on the San Sebastián comarca takes in, from Wednesday 14 to Wednesday 21 October, both registered grants and court auctions in Donostia/San Sebastián, Hernani, Lasarte-Oria, Andoain, Astigarraga, Usurbil and Urnieta. The Usurbil home accepts internet bids through to the 9th of next month, and in Astigarraga the estate, rural according to the edicto, closes on that same day. The Usurbil estate of 16,240 metres and its warehouse was closed to bidders on the 15th. Donostia/San Sebastián, Hernani, Lasarte-Oria, Andoain and Urnieta produced nothing local on this occasion. Through the BDNS register, the Gobierno Vasco made public grants on social responsibility in business, and its business development agency registered Gauzatu Internacional, whose title leaves unclear whether firms may apply.
