Algemesí gathers 43.5 per cent of 7.27 million euros up for tender across the Ribera Alta comarca

Algemesí has five tenders under way across the Ribera Alta comarca, from the CV-515 sewer to rebuilding its theatre, its festival museum and the Tabal i Dolçaina school. Together they total 3.17 million euros, 43.5 per cent of 7.27 million euros still in play in the comarca. Antella's 1.01 million euro square closes on Monday 19, and Alginet takes applications for student and athlete grants until 30 November.

Algemesí, Alzira and Benifaió tender 845,816 euros for a theatre, a square, social services and demolitions

• Algemesí rebuilds three municipal buildings in a single tender. On 14 October Algemesí published on the Plataforma de Contratación, the official portal where public bodies publish their tenders, the rebuilding of the Teatre Jaume I, l'Espai Jove and the Seu Adisalge. It is a single licitación (a public tender in which companies bid) of 278,857.93 euros before VAT (before tax), 33 per cent of the week's four works, open until 3 November.
• Alzira remakes the Luis Suñer square. Alzira city council also published on the 14th the urban regeneration and creation of public space in the Luis Suñer square, tendered at 272,433.83 euros before VAT, with bids until 3 November. A day earlier came the adaptation of the building in the Pl. Sufragio for the Social Services department, tendered at 106,640.08 euros and open until 2 November.
• Benifaió demolishes buildings in lots. The Mayor's Office of Benifaió published on 13 October the demolition of existing buildings in the municipality, split into lots and tendered at 187,884.23 euros before VAT. Bids can be submitted until 2 November.

Antella closes its 1,011,448 euro Camí de la Fonteta tender on Monday 19

• Antella earmarks 1.01 million for a new square. Antella's full council is taking bids until Monday 19 for the development of a square and a public building on the Camí de la Fonteta, tendered at 1,011,448.36 euros before VAT.
• Benifaió and la Pobla Llarga close on Wednesday 21. Until that day the Benifaió resurfacing, tendered at 226,047.87 euros before VAT, and the supply and installation of a playground in La Serratella in la Pobla Llarga, at 33,079 euros, remain open.
• Algemesí rebuilds the Tabal i Dolçaina. The rebuilding of the Public Adult Education Centre and the Tabal i Dolçaina Music School, tendered at 110,077.77 euros before VAT, remains open until 27 October.

Algemesí holds 55 per cent of 5 million euros in thirteen comarca works awaiting their contractor

• Algemesí assesses bids for the sewer and the festival museum. Bidding closed, proposals are now assessed for the renewal of the combined sewer from the CV-515 to the EBAR (a station that pumps wastewater), tendered at 1,344,250.80 euros before VAT, for the rebuilding of the Museu Valencià de la Festa and the recovery of the upper floors of the former convent, at 1,132,060.85 euros, and for the demolition of the Velódromo Municipal, at 299,958.91 euros.
• Guadassuar and Real await a contractor. The refurbishment of the municipal building as a Cultural Centre in Guadassuar, tendered at 574,770 euros before VAT, closed for bids on 15 October. Real has pending, at 485,250 euros, the public car park, whose deadline closed on 5 October.
• Alzira's Almohad wall, awaiting a company. Alzira is already assessing bids for the restoration of a stretch of the Muralla Almohade, the Almohad city wall, tendered at 330,578.51 euros before VAT, and for the pedestrianisation of Bernat Montagud street, phase 2, at 157,024.74 euros. The smart infrastructure improvements on the El Pla industrial estate, at 249,476.10 euros, closed for bids on 14 October.
• Alberic, Manuel, Benifaió, Cotes and Castelló complete the list. Alberic awaits a company for the restoration of the old cistern of the Palacio Señorial, tendered at 206,427.49 euros before VAT, and Manuel for the renewal of play equipment in two parks, at 124,721.41 euros. Also pending are the pedestrian crossings in Benifaió, the Assagador track and the Cemetery of Cotes and the drinking water network in the Ravalet sector of Castelló, from 42,926.92 to 52,775.28 euros.

Cyes Infraestructuras and Vareser 96 will build the two semi-covered courts at Tulell, in Alzira

• A partnership of two companies will build the Tulell courts. Alzira completed the adjudicación (the step where the authority picks the firm that does the work) of the construction of two semi-covered courts at Tulell, tendered at 1,068,114.41 euros before VAT. Cyes Infraestructuras and Vareser 96 share it, as a unión temporal de empresas, a partnership formed to bid jointly for a contract. Alzira also awarded the alarms for the Municipal Archive, tendered at 25,375.03 euros before VAT, and the electrical and street lighting maintenance, at 4,000 euros.
• Alzira gets new changing rooms, Algemesí stadium repairs. VEOLIA SERVICIOS LECAM won the refit of the changing rooms at the Fontana Mogort sports hall in Alzira, tendered at 947,716.14 euros before VAT, and GRUPO SEBRIG the first phase of repairs to the Estadio Municipal of Algemesí, tendered at 353,667.23 euros.
• Montserrat upgrades its industrial area. Senderos 21 S.L. won the upgrade of infrastructure on the Les Valletes industrial estate, tendered at 187,500.17 euros before VAT, and Mesquecons the refit of the Sant Josep park in la Pobla Llarga, at 96,587.25 euros. In Algemesí, PERSILOZ will install the shutters of the municipal Market (77,222.24 euros) and GLOBALKLEE will handle the removal of vehicles from the public highway (128,023.72 euros).
• Montroi commissioned two DANA works months ago. Montroi awarded months ago two works for the damage caused by the DANA of October 2024, an isolated low-pressure system high in the atmosphere that can bring heavy rain. One builder will carry out the restoration of the area around the nursery school, tendered at 367,462 euros before VAT, and another the retaining walls on Geóleg Juan Francisco García and Creu Roja streets, at 357,950 euros.
• Four more, company not yet published. They are the repair of DANA damage in the Plaça de la Creu and Plaça Major of Llombai, at 347,370.64 euros, the pensioners' club in la Pobla Llarga, at 50,709.58, and in Algemesí the road maintenance, at 485,891.74 euros, and the pavements on Joan Fuster street, at 284,042.13 euros.

A Carlet holding firm opens with 100,000 euros, or 76.5 per cent, of capital raised by six new companies

• Carlet gains a holding firm that also deals in property. The BORME of 13 October, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, records in Carlet a holding company, one whose business is owning shares in other firms. Its activities also include property trading. It starts with 100,000 euros of share capital, the money the partners put in. It is the only property company of the six.
• Engineering in l'Alcúdia and IT in Catadau. BOIPER ENGINEERING starts in l'Alcúdia with 3,000 euros, according to the same BORME of the 13th, and VANSOR MAGNA, an IT services company, in Catadau with 8,000 euros, according to the BORME of the 14th.
• Alberic gains industrial repair, Alzira a restaurant plus a garage. RAINHA SOLDAGEM INDUSTRIAL, in industrial repair and maintenance, was registered in Alberic with 10,000 euros in the BORME of the 15th, the same day as a vehicle repair garage in Alzira with 6,700 euros. Alzira also gained a restaurant with 3,000 euros in the BORME of the 14th.
• Alginet opens grants for studies and for elite athletes. On 13 October Alginet approved two convocatorias, the notice that opens the window to apply for a grant. The one for post-compulsory studies in the 2026-2027 academic year shares out 15,000 euros among individuals and the one for elite athletes, 6,000 euros. Both accept applications until 30 November.

Bidding has ended at Alzira and Montroi, the comarca's only court auctions

• A flat in Alzira ran out its time on the BOE. The court auction of the home in Alzira, a public sale ordered by a court, closed on 13 October. Bidding took place on the Portal de Subastas, the official website of the BOE, Spain's Official State Gazette, where anyone who registers can bid. The building, from 1989, has a median CasasValue of 190,011 euros per home, the value CASAS.ES estimates for every home.
• Montroi auctioned farmland with a country house. The Montroi auction, closed on 14 October, was for a rural plot of 4,454 square metres with a single-storey, four-bedroom detached house.

Between 8 and 15 October the Ribera Alta comarca tendered four works: the Teatre Jaume I, l'Espai Jove and the Seu Adisalge in Algemesí, the Luis Suñer square and the municipal Social Services building in Alzira, and the demolitions in Benifaió. Antella's Camí de la Fonteta square closes on Monday 19, and Benifaió's resurfacing and la Pobla Llarga's La Serratella swings close on Wednesday 21. Guadassuar, Real, Alberic, Manuel, Cotes and Castelló have several contracts pending award. Carried over from previous weeks, Montserrat has awarded the Les Valletes industrial estate, Montroi two DANA repairs and Llombai its squares, the latter without any published winner. Carlet, l'Alcúdia, Catadau, Alberic and Alzira gained new companies, Alginet approved grants for students and athletes, and auctions closed in Alzira and Montroi. Carcaixent, Turís and Tous, along with Sellent, Sant Joanet, Beneixida, Benimuslem, l'Énova, Sumacàrcer, Gavarda, Senyera, Càrcer, Massalavés, Benimodo, Rafelguaraf, Alfarb and Alcàntera de Xúquer, saw nothing of the kind in the period, whether tenders, new firms or auctions.
