The Diputació de Girona registers 400,000 euros for Lloret de Mar and 250,000 for Hostalric in a week

The Diputació de Girona, the body that governs the province, registered on 19 October two subvenciones nominativas, funding whose beneficiary is fixed by name beforehand, of 400,000 euros for Lloret de Mar town council and 250,000 for Hostalric town council, both within the La Selva comarca. It also brought forward nine 2027 calls with 867,000 euros for the whole of Girona, while Catalonia's government added four grants open to the comarca.

When to apply for the local retail grant

Nine provincial calls for 2027 add up to 867,000 euros. On Friday 16 October the Diputació registered in the BDNS, the National Grants Database, the public register where every administration announces its grants, nine calls for 2027, each one the notice that opens the window to apply for a grant. Almost half the money goes to the XSLPE, the Diputació's network of town councils, county councils and local economic development agencies.
The local retail call is open to small and medium-sized firms as well as sole traders. According to its entry, that call, with 90,000 euros, takes applications from Monday 4 January to 1 March. Also out are the calls for the technology sector, with 30,000 euros, and economic promotion, with 25,000.
The other five range from special projects to municipal markets. They are the calls for special projects, smart lockers, action plans, the non-XSLPE call and the XMSG, the network of covered municipal markets in the province of Girona. Separately, on 14 October the Diputació brought forward the Això pinta bé awards of its educational programmes, with 2,400 euros.

Business succession, employment, irrigation and languages add up to four regional calls open to the La Selva comarca

On which day each grant open to applications in the comarca arrived

Business succession opens for applications on 2 November. On Monday 19 October the Catalan government registered its grants for business continuity and second chances 2027-2028, with 3,000,000 euros. Its entry sets applications from 2 to 16 November.
The SOC puts 4,000,000 euros into work placements outside Spain for young people. The SOC, the Catalan Public Employment Service, registered the 2026 SOC-ALMA call in the BDNS on Wednesday 14 October, a programme of the Generalitat, the Catalan government, of work placements abroad for young people who are neither studying nor working. There are 20 días hábiles, the days left once Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are excluded, from its official publication, according to its entry.
Irrigation bodies that suffered adverse weather are eligible for 360,000 euros. On Friday 16 October came 2026 grants for comunidades de regantes, the statutory body formed by everyone who irrigates from the same water intake or concession, affected by adverse weather events. There are 10 working days to apply.
University students learning languages have 230,000 euros. AGAUR, the Generalitat agency that manages university and research grants, registered on 19 October the Parla 3 grants, so that undergraduate students of the 2025-2026 academic year can certify third languages. Applications are open for a month.

Lifts, hotel software and rural tourism launch five companies across the La Selva comarca

Fewer companies than last week, and more spread out

Five new companies choose five different municipalities of the La Selva comarca. The BORME, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, where new companies, capital changes and closures must be published by law, published five limited companies from the comarca on 15, 16 and 20 October, all with 3,000 euros of share capital, the money the partners put in when founding the company.
Santa Coloma de Farners gains a lift installer. VELTIVA ELEVA SOCIEDAD LIMITADA, published on 16 October, will install, repair and replace lifts, goods lifts and stairlifts.
Inland, the forest supports two businesses, one of which also lets apartments. A VIE ORIGINES SL, from Sant Feliu de Buixalleu, combines rural tourism and apartment letting with plant nurseries, timber, cork and mushrooms. In Arbúcies, ARGANA FORESTAL SL will carry out forestry work, wildfire prevention and gardening.
The coast gains hotel software and a gym. HOTEL OPS APP SOCIEDAD LIMITADA, in Lloret de Mar, will sell management software for hotels that uses artificial intelligence. BRAVE COAST LLORET TRAINING CENTER SL has Lloret in its name but its registered office is in Blanes, where it will open a gym.
Bidding for a 1/79 share of a Lloret de Mar flat is now over. The subasta judicial, a public sale ordered by a court, of that parte indivisa, a share of a jointly owned property, in an apartment with 53 usable square metres and two bedrooms, open since September, has now closed, as we reported on 15 October.

The Diputació de Girona registers 650,000 euros for two town councils. On Monday 19 October the Diputació entered two subvenciones nominativas, which nobody else can apply for, 400,000 euros for Lloret de Mar town council and 250,000 for Hostalric town council.
Riells i Viabrea will award 5,500 euros to those who parade in its Carnival. Riells i Viabrea town council announced on Friday 16 October 5,500 euros in prizes for the 2027 Carnival parade, the only one of these items that can be applied for. Registration closes on 5 February at 14.00.
Maçanet de la Selva sets four years of support for the Maçateatre. Maçanet de la Selva town council recorded on 16 October a convenio de subvención, an agreement through which the administration funds a specific organisation, with the Maçateatre from 2026 to 2029, with 1,250 euros in its entry.
