Villatorres sees a 19.15 million group born and Mengíbar awards the building on the Cine Avenida site

A company based in Villatorres, whose business will be holding shares or stakes in other firms, starts out with 19.15 million of capital. That is 99.95 of every 100 euros subscribed in the BORME by the four new firms that the Jaén comarca added. Mengíbar's chosen contractor will now erect the civic building set to occupy the grounds of its former Cine Avenida, works tendered at 3.3 million before VAT. For the JV-2305 road at Las Infantas, offers are accepted only until today, 22 October.

The cinema outweighs the other six works combined

Mengíbar's civic building on the old cinema site has its builder. Mengíbar's full council now has a contractor for the multi-purpose civic and cultural building on the site of the former Cine Avenida, tendered at 3,296,304.52 euros before VAT, that is, before tax. The builder is GRULOP INFRAESTRUCTURAS S.L., a limited company in infrastructure, according to its registered name. So reports the Procurement Platform, the official portal where public bodies publish their tenders for works and services, which updated it on 19 October. There it is listed as awarded, the step in which the public body chooses the company that will do the work.
Six works with no news add up to less than the cinema alone. Still resolved or awarded, with no news this week, are the roofs of the main sports hall at La Salobreja and the paving of the Parque de las Sufragistas in the city of Jaén, the resurfacing of the JA-4401 from Porcuna to Arjonilla, the energy-efficient street lighting of Mancha Real, a farm track in Torredelcampo and the sewerage of Grupo Peralta in Fuerte del Rey. Of the seven, the cinema accounts for 58 per cent of the amount put out to tender.

One closes today, two in twelve days and Jamilena in twenty-one

Las Infantas reaches its road's deadline today. The Jaén Provincial Council, the government of the province, which mainly serves small towns, accepts bids until today, 22 October, for the resurfacing of the JV-2305 from Las Infantas to Ventosilla, tendered at 254,237.19 euros before VAT, within the city of Jaén's municipal area.
Jamilena wants a roundabout where the village begins. Jamilena's mayor's office published on 14 October the tender, a public contest in which companies submit bids, for the construction of a roundabout at the entrance to the municipality, tendered at 145,132.82 euros before VAT. Builders have until 12 November to submit a bid.
The 13.1 million for damaged paving awaits bids. Still open is the repair of street paving in the city of Jaén after the January and February storms, tendered at 13,104,056.72 euros before VAT by the full city council. Bids are accepted until 3 November, and the contract makes up 95 per cent of the 13,727,321.83 euros of the four open works in the Jaén comarca.
Provincial tax collectors renew the wiring in their buildings. The Provincial Management and Collection Service, which collects taxes and charges for the town councils that delegate it and belongs to the provincial council, is seeking a company for the renewal of the electrical installation and works in buildings of the Jaén Collection department, tendered at 223,895.10 euros before VAT, with bids until 3 November.

Bidding on two city flats closed on 14 October. Two flats in the city of Jaén closed their bidding on 14 October on the Auction Portal, the official website of the BOE, Spain's Official State Gazette, where courts and public bodies auction property. Each is a court auction, a public sale ordered by a court, in which anyone can bid. One is a home of almost 98 usable square metres, in a building of eight homes from 1968. That building has a median CasasValue, the value CASAS.ES estimates for every home, of 122,211 euros. The other is a flat of about 58 square metres according to the edict, the official notice of the auction.
The technology park's plot 22 goes to a winning bidder. The provincial council marked as resolved this week, meaning the tender is over and the contract has been closed, the auction sale of plot 22 at the Geolit science and technology park, in Mengíbar, tendered at 244,228.50 euros before VAT, with TRANSFORMADOS Y FERRALLA MORAL, S.L. as the successful bidder.
Two provincial council basements in the city, resolved. The same provincial council marked as resolved the sale of a basement tendered at 23,674.59 euros before VAT and that of another tendered at 16,891.29 euros before VAT, both in the city of Jaén and with no buyer published on the Platform.

A single block fills almost all the new capital

A management group lands in Villatorres with 19,150,000 euros. The BORME of 15 October records the incorporation in Villatorres of GRUPO JAME GESTION INTEGRAL, with 19,150,000 euros of share capital. That is 99.95 per cent of the 19,159,000 euros of the four new companies of the comarca. The BORME is the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, where new companies, capital changes and closures must be published by law. According to its registered objects, the activities the company states in its articles that it will carry on, it is set up to hold and manage shares and stakes in other companies. Share capital is the money the partners put in when founding the company, not what it bills.
Property, restaurant and farming firms round off the register. In Martos, GESTION AGRICOLA ESPEJO is set up to support agriculture, with 3,000 euros, and in the city of Jaén a property company and a restaurant are incorporated, with 3,000 euros each, according to the same BORME. That makes four new companies compared with seven in the previous edition.
Three calls with news, from milk to youth, and money for Mancha Real's free-flight club. The regional Department of Agriculture opens the call for grants for milk yield recording in 2027 in Andalusia. The Andalusian Energy Agency, the Andalusian regional government body that runs grants for energy saving and renewables, amends the call, the notice that opens the window to apply for a grant, for the Plan Renove for vehicles. The provincial council opens the call for grants to strengthen local youth structures in 2027. Who can apply, how much and until when is in the official entry in the BDNS, the National Grants Database. Separately, Mancha Real Town Council grants a direct subsidy to the local free-flight club for some sessions on its safety equipment, money that already has a recipient.

The Jaén comarca has 2.8 million in nine contracts still unawarded, with Martos and Torredonjimeno the setting for four

The JA-3308 and JA-3307 roads out of Martos await a contractor. The provincial council closed bidding on 13 October for the strengthening of the JA-3308 road surface from Martos to the provincial boundary via Monte Lope Álvarez and is assessing the bids for the strengthening of the JA-3307 from Las Casillas de Martos to Alcaudete. Together the two roads total 1,453,424.78 euros before VAT, more than half of what awaits a contractor in the comarca.
Torredonjimeno organises its lorries and renews its park. The governing board of Torredonjimeno Town Council has under review the lorry car park and the paving of the central promenade of the municipal park, tendered between them at 695,166 euros before VAT. Under review means the public body is assessing the bids and has not yet chosen a company.
School roof in Mengíbar and Pegalajar access road, pending. Bidding has already closed for the roofing of the sports court at CEIP José Plata in Mengíbar. A CEIP is a state infant and primary school, for children aged 3 to 12. Mancha Real is assessing the bids for the improvement of the access via Pegalajar, tendered at 140,784.17 euros before VAT.
La Guardia de Jaén studies proposals for its land-use plan. The town council is assessing bids to draft its Plan General de Ordenación Municipal, the municipal master plan, which sets what can be built and where. In the city of Jaén, the University of Jaén is assessing its low-voltage network, of 63,816.96 euros before VAT, and the provincial council the refurbishment of a flat, of 96,572.08 euros before VAT.

Higuera de Calatrava, Villardompardo, Fuensanta de Martos, Santiago de Calatrava and Los Villares show nothing filed in their own name this week. The dairy yield and Plan Renove calls apply across Andalusia.
