Costa del Sol comarca adds 110 companies, 2.3 times Gran Bilbao, with a 1.1 million developer

Costa del Sol comarca saw 110 companies registered between 14 and 21 October, 2.3 times Gran Bilbao, second of the 21 comarcas analysed today, and MAQUEDA21, a Mijas developer, put up 1.1 million of their combined 1,699,821 euros. In Torremolinos the disposal of five municipal plots, three in El Pozuelo, appears resolved, Estepona picks who redesigns its calle Independencia and Benalmádena keeps its only live home auction open until Saturday 24 October.

MAQUEDA21, a Mijas developer, brings 1.1 of the 1.7 million gathered by 110 new companies

96 of the 110 companies start with 3,000 euros
  • MAQUEDA21 SL, a Mijas property developer, starts out with 1,100,000 euros of capital. The BORME of 16 October, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, publishes its incorporation. Its share capital, the money partners put in when founding it, is 65 per cent of the weekly total.
  • Of the 21 comarcas analysed today, none gets near Costa del Sol and its 110 registrations. That is 27 more than the week before, in the BORME of 14, 15, 16, 20 and 21 October. Second is Gran Bilbao, with 48.
  • Marbella has 41 of them, including property trading and formwork firms. The BORME of 14 October lists SOLTERRA HABITAT SL, in property trading, and TUGAR ENCOFRADOS SL, in construction.
  • After the developer, the largest capitals are in Marbella and Estepona. LRC EQUESTRIAN SL starts in Marbella with 153,000 euros to breed horses (BORME of the 21st) and DELCAMINO GROUP SL in Estepona with 100,000 (BORME of the 20th).
  • The Plan Renove Vehículos Andalucía amends the terms of its grant call. The Agencia Andaluza de la Energía, the regional body running energy saving and renewables grants, publishes the amended call, the notice opening the grant application window, in the BDNS, the National Grants Database. Marbella logs two nominative grants, earmarked for a named recipient, for the Bishopric of Málaga and a brotherhood.

Manilva, ACOSOL, Benalmádena and Torremolinos have four open contracts worth 778,544 euros

The four open contracts, at the two ends of the coast
  • Manilva takes proposals to redesign the Greco until Monday 26 October. The mayor's office has on the Plataforma de Contratación, the official portal where public bodies post their tenders, a public tender, in which firms submit bids, for the redesign of the Plaza del Greco, tendered at 290,721.29 euros excluding VAT, before taxes.
  • ACOSOL fixes the chemical tanks at the Guadalmansa sewage plant, in Estepona, and at Manilva. ACOSOL, the public water company of the western Costa del Sol municipalities, offers in lots the chemical storage upgrade, tendered at 259,803.81 euros excluding VAT, until Wednesday 28 October.
  • Since Friday 16 October, Benalmádena seeks air conditioning units for its buildings. The town hall offers air conditioning for several municipal buildings, tendered at 145,781.71 euros excluding VAT, with bids until 5 November.
  • Torremolinos splits felling and transplanting its trees into six lots. The felling and transplanting of trees with new pavements and kerbs in several areas of Torremolinos is tendered at 82,237.34 euros excluding VAT and closes on Monday 26 October.

Benalmádena keeps a flat at auction until Saturday 24 October after three closures in Fuengirola and Estepona

Fuengirola holds two of the four auctions
  • In Benalmádena bids for one flat stay open to Saturday 24 October. It is a court auction, a public sale ordered by a court, of a home in Benalmádena on the Portal de Subastas, the website of the BOE, the Official State Gazette, where anyone registered can bid. The edicto, the official auction notice, gives no floor area.
  • Fuengirola closed bidding on half a home, and CasasValue puts its building at a 1,267,755 euro median per home. The Fuengirola auction closed on 14 October, like another home in Fuengirola, with no floor area in the edicto. CasasValue is the value CASAS.ES estimates for every home.
  • On Thursday 15 October Estepona closed one more court auction, also for a home. The Estepona home has no floor area in the edicto. With four auctions, the comarca is second of the day's 21, behind Alcoy.

Torremolinos has resolved the disposal of five municipal plots, three in El Pozuelo, tendered at 8.75 million

Torremolinos is almost half of the municipal land for sale
  • GRUPO INMOBILIARIO FERROCARRIL appears as winning bidder for five municipal plots in Torremolinos. The Junta de Gobierno Local, the body of the mayor and some councillors, resolved the sale of five plots in five lots, three in El Pozuelo and two on calle Madre Teresa de Calcuta, tendered at 8,749,606.42 euros excluding VAT. The Plataforma lists it in two entries, without lot details.
  • In Benalmádena, another Ferrocarril company holds land for 192 subsidised homes. Benalmádena has awarded the municipal plot R-11 in Santángelo Oeste, for 192 subsidised homes, to FERROCARRIL PROYECTO 19, S.L., tendered at 4,468,222.95 euros excluding VAT. Together they make 13,217,829.37 euros of public land.
  • Marbella has awarded municipal land, and Estepona is processing land for 199 subsidised homes. As we reported, Marbella awarded Artola Alta and La Montua. Estepona is assessing bids for two plots in Camino de Cortés Norte for 160 and 39 subsidised homes.
  • On calle Oropéndola, Fuengirola already knows its supported housing contractor, and Casares has closed its rental tender. The design and build on calle Oropéndola, tendered at 10,859,504.13 euros excluding VAT, goes to the UTE URBASUR-MARVEL, a temporary joint venture of firms bidding together. Casares no longer takes bids to rent out five homes in El Chaparral.

Estepona picks who redesigns calle Independencia and Torremolinos who restores the Casa María Barrabino

A single Mijas project outweighs the five in Benalmádena
