Lebrija's 3.24 million sports hall goes 94 days unawarded as Utrera's crematorium gets its contractor

Throughout the Bajo Guadalquivir comarca, the largest contract that remains open is the upgrade of Lebrija's Caseta Municipal sports pavilion. Its tender was 3,239,048 euros before VAT, yet 94 days after bidding shut Lebrija has still to name its builder. Utrera awards renovation work on its crematorium furnace, Las Cabezas de San Juan takes offers to redevelop Calle Hermanos Álvarez until 10 November and UTRERA LIVING launches with 255,068 euros, most of what the eleven new registrations put in.

Utrera awards the crematorium extension and closes the revised project for the Cuadra mansion

Three of the five works account for 84 per cent of the money

The revised project for the Cuadra mansion is settled. Utrera Town Council marked as resolved, meaning the tender is over and the contract has been closed, the works on the revised project for the restoration of the Cuadra mansion on the Procurement Platform, the official portal where public bodies publish their tenders for works and services. It is the amended design of a restoration that already had a contractor, ETM INGENIERIA Y PROYECTOS. Its tender, a public contest in which companies bid to carry out works or a service, started at 589,050 euros excluding VAT, before tax.
Utrera's municipal crematorium grows. The extension and renovation of the municipal crematorium furnace, tendered at 463,937.62 euros before VAT, is listed as awarded to DER PROYECTOS Y OBRAS, the step in which the public body chooses the company that will do the work. Together with the mansion, Utrera accounts for 1,052,988 of the 1,958,412 euros put out to tender in the five works that changed status.
Lebrija prepares the new home of its Local Police. Lebrija Town Council closed with Construcciones Ronda La Mina the contract for the refurbishment works on the building in Calle Sevilla that will house the Local Police, tendered at 592,104.29 euros before VAT.
Los Palacios y Villafranca hires lorries for its works. Its town council marked as resolved, with GALBARRO SERVICIOS INTREGRALES, the hire of tipper lorries with drivers, tendered at 21,280 euros before VAT.

Las Cabezas de San Juan gives builders until 10 November to redevelop Calle Hermanos Álvarez

Lebrija's sports hall has gone 94 days since bidding closed

Las Cabezas de San Juan seeks a contractor. Its town council published on 16 October the redevelopment of a stretch of Calle Hermanos Álvarez and other streets, tendered at 292,040.41 euros before VAT. Bids can be submitted until 10 November.
The job is funded through farm employment. It is part of the 2026 PFEA, the farm employment programme, to which public bodies assign investment in Andalusia, Extremadura and depressed rural areas. It is the only works tender in the comarca accepting bids now.
Lebrija and Las Cabezas weigh bids. Still under review, meaning the public body is assessing the bids and has not yet chosen a company, are the upgrade of Lebrija's Caseta Municipal sports hall, tendered at 3,239,048.20 euros before VAT, and the green corridor to the El Ranchillo peri-urban park in Las Cabezas de San Juan, tendered at 111,570.25 euros before VAT.

Utrera takes five of eleven registrations and a property-holding firm launches there with 255,068 euros

The week's capital hangs on a single company, as in the Huelva comarca

A Utrera rental holding company launches with 255,068 euros. UTRERA LIVING was registered on 20 October in the BORME, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, to let property it owns, with 255,068 euros of share capital, the money the partners put in when founding the company. It provides 68 per cent of the 374,068 euros contributed by the eleven new companies of the Bajo Guadalquivir comarca.
Development and construction sit beside the rental firm. AC URBAN PROMOCIONES INMOBILIARIAS is set up in Los Palacios y Villafranca to promote and manage property projects, and STELIAM RESOURCES SPAIN, in Utrera, for construction, installations and maintenance.
Employment agencies, flowers and drinks complete the list. Three placement agencies, SEVILLA CONTRATACIONES DEL SUR, EMPLESUR DE HOSTELERIA SEVILLA and EMPLECADIZ DEL SUR, register in Utrera. FLORISTERIA EL CORTINAL LEBRIJA puts 58,000 euros into the flower and plant trade and PIZZA KEBAB 786 opens in Las Cabezas de San Juan, with drinks service as its stated purpose. A clothes shop in Los Palacios y Villafranca bears the name of a person.
Without the property-holding firm, the new companies total 119,000 euros. Two of the eleven, the haulier from El Cuervo de Sevilla and JLA DECORATION, from Lebrija, appeared in the BORME of 14 October, already covered in the previous edition.

From temporary jobs in El Palmar de Troya to provincial culture, eight calls for grant applications

Of 19 grants, 8 are open to applicants and 8 already have a recipient

El Palmar de Troya shares out 20,308.54 euros in temporary jobs. On 20 October the town council registered in the BDNS, the National Grants Database, the rules of its programme against social exclusion through temporary employment, with 20,308.54 euros from the Seville provincial council for people with no economic activity. Applications go through the municipal e-office within 15 working days, the days left once Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are excluded, from when the rules appear in the BOP, the Provincial Official Gazette.
The provincial council extends the same programme. The Seville Provincial Council, the government of the province, published on 15 October a supplementary call, with more funding, for that same 2026 programme. A call is the notice that opens the window to apply for a grant.
Energy amends and farming opens a call. The Andalusian Energy Agency, the regional government body that manages energy grants, registered on 14 October an amendment to the call for Andalusia's Plan Renove for vehicles, and the regional Department of Agriculture set the call for grants for milk yield recording in 2027.
Culture, consumers and memory also open calls. The Seville provincial council also opened Culture and Citizenship calls for municipal cultural activities, consumer associations and historical memory in town councils.
