Cuartón Cortijo secures a contractor, covering 52 of the 89 Inmobiliaria Municipal de Badajoz social flats

Of the 89 social housing flats that the Inmobiliaria Municipal de Badajoz tendered with a 10 million euro budget before VAT, the 52 in Cuartón Cortijo are already awarded. Meanwhile, the city of Badajoz awaits whoever will build the indoor pool plus the delivery suite at the Materno-Infantil, Torre de Miguel Sesmero offers municipal land by public competition and 8 companies are inscribed across the Badajoz comarca.

Cuartón Cortijo gets a builder for 52 social housing flats and 37 more of the Inmobiliaria Municipal wait

Monsalud, 32 per cent dearer per home than San Roque

FAM.PARC. S.L. will build the Cuartón Cortijo block. The Plataforma de Contratación, the official portal for public tenders, lists FAM.PARC. S.L., the builder named as the contractor, in its update of 9 October. The Inmobiliaria Municipal tendered these 52 viviendas de protección oficial, officially protected social homes, in June for 5,486,379.85 euros before VAT.
The largest pending development is on the Ronda Norte. The Inmobiliaria is studying bids for 30 social housing flats with garage and storage room in San Roque, phase II, tendered for 3,471,770.83 euros before VAT.
Marqués de Monsalud holds seven more homes pending a contractor. It is also studying 7 homes with garage and storage room on Calle Marqués de Monsalud, tendered for 1,070,548.60 euros before VAT.

Pools and a delivery suite top six city of Badajoz contracts worth 22.1 million, contractors pending

Five of the six are already studying proposals

Of the six, the pool and the delivery suite make up 89.4 per cent. Badajoz city council tendered the indoor and outdoor pool on the right bank for 10,242,713.97 euros before VAT, and the Gerencia del Área de Salud, the health area management, tendered the delivery suite at the Hospital Materno-Infantil for 9,505,942.71.
Contractor selection for the Alcazaba is pending. Bids are being studied for the ruined Barbacana next to the Torre de Espantaperros, tendered for 130,578.51 euros before VAT.
Lights, energy and fibre complete the list. Still under study are the Christmas, Carnival and Fair lighting, tendered for 2,115,702.48 euros before VAT, and the Local Police solar power installation, at 84,067.79. The fire station fibre, at 10,939.86, closed bidding on 6 October.

Six firms win eight local jobs across the city of Badajoz and Almendral, from Valdebotoa to central Almendral

Pavements and Valdebotoa account for 43.7 per cent of the ten

Valdebotoa will be urbanised by a firm already chosen. Cubillana, S.L. wins the Valdebotoa urban development, tendered for 534,214.88 euros before VAT. The city pavement improvements, the largest at 659,091.74 euros, and the renovation of Madre de Dios, Sepúlveda and R. Albarrán, at 323,566.28, are resolved with no company shown.
Muñoz Torrero and San Francisco will get new paving. Construcciones Ojalma will renew the paving of Muñoz Torrero, at 302,807.39 euros before VAT, and that of San Francisco, for 170,578.51.
Almendral is refurbishing its village centre. The Pleno, the full council, of Almendral awarded Actuaciones para el Medio Ambiente y Rural de Extremadura, S.L. the refurbishment of the Plaza de España, tendered for 273,711.16 euros before VAT.
Two public buildings have their firms lined up. Arcoiris TT Suministros will waterproof the roof of the Tesorería General de la Seguridad Social, the common service that collects contributions and manages the assets of Spain's Social Security system, tendered for 158,584.04 euros, and Grupo Macías Rehabilitaciones will work on the underground car park in the Plaza de Santa María, at 122,666.94.
Two urgent water repairs. FCC Aqualia, a water management company that provides services at every stage of the water cycle, is handling on an emergency basis the treatment plant at the Centro de Protección Animal, tendered for 73,589.60 euros before VAT, and the modification of the sewer repair on Avenida de Huelva, tendered for 113,587.92.

Torre de Miguel Sesmero sells two plots by tender until 1 November and 8 companies are born

Only two of the six lots still accept bids

Badajoz city council is looking for planning legal advice. Until 21 October the tender, a public competition in which companies submit bids, remains open for legal assistance on town planning, at 68,880 euros before VAT.
Torre de Miguel Sesmero sells land by tender. The town council is selling two plots tendered for 11,937.36 euros before VAT. Bids are accepted until 1 November. In the city of Badajoz a municipal plot of 1,269,200 euros is being assessed, and Talavera la Real resolved the one for two municipal plots, at 55,620.90 euros before VAT.
The only court lot of the week was a garage. A parking space in the city of Badajoz, the only auction in the comarca, a public sale ordered by a court, closed on 15 October.
The eight incorporations add up to 33,001 euros of capital. The BORME, the Official Gazette of the Companies Register, registered 8 companies in the Badajoz comarca this week, seven in the city and one in Nogales. The one with the most capital is born in the city with 12,000 euros, the money the partners put in. Construhogar Proyectos y Reformas, with 4,000, will build and refurbish homes, and Activos del Guadiana, with 5,000, will manage properties.
